THE NEXT BLACK STUDENT UNION: Meeting of the year is Tuesday, September 14 at lunch in room 606. Pick up your permission slips for The Color Purple and help plan future meetings, field trips, and activities. The BSU is a club for ALL Bonita students interested in African-American history and culture.
FRENCH CLUB: Is sponsoring a field trip to the musical Phantom of the Opera on Saturday October 16. See Mrs. Fletcher or a French student for details if you are interested in joining us. Deadline to turn in permission slips and ticket money is Friday, September 10.

SOPHOMORES AND JUNIORS – If your goal is to attend college upon graduation, then you should strongly consider signing up for the PSAT, the practice exam for the S.A.T., that will be held on Saturday, October 16. Your academic teachers have given you some information about it. Sign up in the Finance Office by Sept. 17th – cost is $20.
STUDENTS: Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 18th – we will be offering a full length Mock SAT
or ACT exam right here at BHS from 9am-1pm, results presentation immediately following. Every student should take this exam as a great practice opportunity and preparation for the real thing.
